Your local IT, security and satellite internet experts

We’re the area’s full service IT and electronic security provider, providing not only computer repair but web design, IT support and satellite internet installation and service. Twin County Tech Inc. was originally founded in April of 2004 as Twin County Computers. In 2011, we started a second company called Twin County Security LLC that we’ve now merged into our main business to form Twin County Tech Inc. We chose to change the name to Twin County Tech to reflect all the aspects of our business, not just computer repair and IT.

  • In business since 2004
  • Quality service for businesses and homes
  • Offering Viasat (formerly Exede) satellite internet installation and service
  • We can connect you wherever you live

Viasat: Reliable, high-speed internet regardless of where you live

With the limited infrastructure of local phone and cable carriers, Viasat is the only option for anyone off the main highway. Beamed from a powerful communications satellite located 23,000 miles in space, Viasat delivers lightning-fast speeds with download speeds up to 25 Mbps and upload speeds up to 3 Mbps. Viasat offers a variety of great plans so you can find one that best fits you and your family’s online habits. Need more information? Give us a call! We can walk you through all your amazing Viasat options, and schedule your installation.

About Galax, Virginia

Named for an ornamental plant, Galax is home to about 7,000 people. The evergreen ground cover known as Galax urceolata once was gathered and sold throughout southwestern Virginia. Galax later developed as a hub for furniture factories, some of which still thrive there today. But efforts to beautify and revitalize the downtown are also reinventing Galax as a tourist destination known for its history, music and trails. The annual Old Fiddler’s Convention has been held there since 1935 and continues to draw bluegrass music fans.
