Our family-owned and operated business has been part of the community for more than 23 years. We install and service Viasat high-speed internet and DIRECTV. Owners Kenneth and Debbie Tallant have both lived in the Forsyth County area in Cumming, Georgia their entire lives. Both are graduates of Forsyth County High School. Kenneth’s family has owned a well-known TV sales and repair shop for years called Tallant’s TV. They also started a big dish satellite business, Tallant’s Satellite, in this area. Debbie’s Little Dishes is now located in the same building as Tallant’s TV and Tallant’s Satellite once were.
We strive to give our customers legendary customer service. We do our best to take care of all our customers and make sure they are happy with our work. We have won several awards in our years of service to this community and we take great pride in the work that we do. We treat our customers like family and truly appreciate their business.
Internet service is limited in the very rural areas of South Georgia. Viasat satellite internet is a blessing to many people who otherwise would not have any internet option. Similarly in North Georgia, people in the more rural areas of the mountains appreciate the convenience of Viasat offers; many in that area also have no other option available.
Unlike other technologies that require extensive infrastructure or that may never extend to your area, Viasat Internet comes directly to your home or business from our satellite. Our internet signal is transmitted from ground stations to our satellite, which sends the signal directly to a small dish mounted on your house or business: No antiquated wires, underground cables or other outdated technology. Just high-quality satellite internet, available in a variety of plans and prices.
Located just north of Atlanta, Forsyth County is one of the state’s fastest growing counties. It’s become home to many professionals who commute to Atlanta to work, making it among the wealthiest counties in the country. Its county seat is Cumming, a town of about 6,000 that hosts the popular Cumming Country Fair each year. Forsyth County borders Lake Sidney Lanier, a beautiful 37,000-acre lake that draws campers, boaters and anglers. Other attractions include Sawnee Mountain Preserve, once an area explored by gold miners, that’s now an outdoor wonderland with hiking trails, rock climbing, picnic areas, and an outdoor amphitheater. The Cumming Playhouse, located in the restored Cumming Public School building, offers a variety of stage productions and concerts throughout the year.
