Freedom from cable for Hawaii’s residents and businesses

Great news, Hawaii! With Microcom, you can have freedom from cable. Until now, living off-the-grid typically meant no connection to the world, and no internet. Now, you can change that. Enjoy satellite television and internet no matter where you live or do business. With residential internet packages starting under $50, we can connect you with those you love most. And with business internet plans starting at $59.99, we can also connect business owners with your clients and work partners — and provide a reliable back-up internet service.

Bundle your Exede Internet with DIRECTV for the best value. Stop by and visit our Oahu, Kailua-Kona, or Prince Kuhio Plaza locations. We’re always happy to meet new people.

  • Just say no to cable with our satellite options!
  • Providing residential and business customers with superior service
  • Completely 100 percent local!

With Exede, off-the-grid no longer means out of touch

Living and working in the beautiful and unique environment of Hawaii has in the past meant limited options for internet. With Exede, that’s no longer the case. It’s available where you are today. Unlike other technologies that require extensive infrastructure or that may never extend to your area, Exede Internet is beamed directly from satellite into your home or business. It’s the leader in the satellite internet industry, in both performance, speed and reliability and is offered with a variety of plans and price points. Exede satellite is the only choice for keeping Hawaii’s residents and businesses connected with the rest of the world.

Exede Business satellite internet brings high-speed service to any business, anywhere. Whether it’s an independent, one-man-shop or a chain store in a unique geographic setting, Exede provides internet to tough-to-reach locations where other internet providers just don’t go.

We’ve got five plans to serve businesses, with four designed as a primary connection, and one especially created as an emergency back-up service. Our four primary Business Plans have no hard data caps and are offered with a range of data and price points. And with our fifth plan, Exede Redundancy, you and your customers won’t miss an internet beat in a storm, power outage or other disruption of your primary service.

Whether you need residential or business internet service, you can be part of Exede today. Call us to set an appointment, or drop by one of our locations.

About Hawaii

Hawaii Island is 4,028 square miles; so big, in fact, the other Hawaiian islands could fit on it nearly twice. Yet Hawaii Island is the youngest in the Hawaiian chain – a mere 800,000 years old. It’s home to Mauna Kea, the tallest sea mountain in the world, with a summit that stands 13,796 feet above sea level and rises more than 32,000 feet from its base on the ocean floor. This makes it taller than Mt. Everest. Neighboring peak Mauna Loa is the most massive mountain in the world, covering half the island. But Hawaii Island is most famous for Kilauea in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. One of the world’s most active volcanoes, it’s erupted continuously since 1983. The lush east-side town of Hilo gets more than 130 inches of rain annually, while the Koala Coast near Kawaihae usually gets no more than five inches a year. Ranging from the fern forests of Puna and the cool, misty breezes of Waimea, to the sunny, lava plains of Konan and the dry heat of Kau, Hawaii Island is a place of stunningly distinct environments.
